WAGO
WAGO is a German company founded in 1951 by Heinrich Nagel and Friedrich Hohorst. They develop and manufacture innovative electrical connections, automation technology and interface electronics for a wide range of industries including automotive, rail and building technology. With a focus on innovation, quality and sustainability the company has experienced significant growth over the last 50 years, servicing its extensive customer base from a number of manufacturing facilities around the world.
Dextra have been using WAGO components for over 18 years and therefore when it came to the construction of their new facility in Rugby we were given the opportunity to tender for the lighting package. Working closely with the nominated consultants and contractors we put forward an innovative lighting proposal using the latest LED technology to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for their staff and customers alike.
Our suspended Runway system was utilised in various forms throughout the building to create some visual interest and our Verteco highbays were used for their superior efficiency and optical control in the assembly and storage areas. All fittings utilised WAGO electrical connectors and careful consideration was paid to the lighting control in each area to maximise the operational efficiency of the new lighting system. The new building opened on time and WAGO were very pleased with the finished result.
