Campus for Future Living
Campus for Future Living is a new initiative based in Lincolnshire, UK, dedicated to supporting the local community through collaboration with partners from the healthcare, academic and business sectors. With a strong focus on wellbeing, innovation and sustainability, the Campus is designed as a flexible space that can evolve in line with the needs of future generations.
As part of a significant new build project, Dextra Group was appointed to supply the lighting system for the initial shell and core phase. Thanks to their exceptional service, product quality and close partnership with Selmec, the electrical contractor, Dextra was retained to continue delivering lighting solutions for the subsequent phases of the project.
The nature of the new Campus building required a versatile lighting system, capable of adapting to a wide range of uses and environments within the space. From general circulation areas to more focused zones such as meeting rooms, each space had distinct requirements for both functionality and comfort.
Dextra’s ability to provide a flexible, end-to-end solution was key to meeting the project’s varied demands. Within the meeting areas, Dextra installed its Reacta control system, enabling multiple lighting scene settings tailored to the needs of the users. This intelligent control system allows lighting levels to be adjusted according to activity, ensuring a dynamic and comfortable environment at all times.
Dextra played a key role in supporting Campus for Future Living’s mission to provide a modern, community-driven facility. This project underlines Dextra’s continued commitment to delivering sustainable, people-focused lighting solutions that align with the evolving needs of both clients and end users.
